The TurnSignl App

Black-owned, Minnesota-based TurnSignl is an on-demand, real-time service that provides 24/7 legal guidance from an attorney to drivers while their camera records the interaction. When drivers are stopped by law enforcement officers or involved in a car accident, they can access live video chat with an attorney at the press of a button. TurnSignl attorneys are vetted and trained to de-escalate interactions between police, drivers, and passengers.

TurnSignl was born out of necessity, in the same city where George Floyd tragically lost his life to police violence.

Our History

2016 Philando Castile was killed by law enforcement.

2020 History repeated itself, and George Floyd lost his life at the hands of law enforcement in our home state of Minnesota. In October, our Co-Founders left their corporate careers and began development of the TurnSignl app.

2021 - 2023 The TurnSignl app launched in Minnesota and expanded to Georgia, California, New York, and eventually, all states across the country!

2024 - 2025 TurnSignl became a must-have for leading workplace benefits programs, available in employee benefit and group legal plans for over 150 companies nationwide.

2026 TurnSignl launched key new features, including support for 60+ languages and support during immigration matters.
